În caz că aţi uitat deja, WGA vine de la Writers Guild Awards. Deci, asta înseamnă că aceste premii sunt acordate scenariştilor, persoane foarte importante în realizarea şi reuşita unui serial.

Trebuie menţionat faptul că serialul Mad Man, unul dintre favoritele anului trecut, a fost exclus pentru că nu a fost difuzat în anul 2011. De asemenea, o să observaţi că majoritatea nominalizărilor vin pentru scenariştii de la televiziunile prin cablu.
